Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am asking about my daughter, aged 27. She developed a headache yesterday and it has continued all day today. She would describe it as the worst headache ever. She is vomiting every few hours. She has tried to eat and drink a little bit, but cannot keep that down. She has minimal Obama Care insurance so we are not sure what to do.
The symptoms are more likely suggestive of a migraine attack. As of now, she can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for pain relief, which available as over the counter.
If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
